Murder By The Stars is a candid account of a vicious murder that took place at the Las Vegas Sands Hotel & Casino in 1974. Although the original Sands Hotel is long gone, memories of the victim—a vivacious beauty from Minneapolis—spur on a San Diego paralegal to research the circumstances surrounding the crime and the ensuing investigation and trial.

What results is a disturbing glimpse of a cold-blooded killer whose modus operandi was similar in some ways to that of the infamous zodiac killer of the late 1960s. The author includes a chilling epilogue that provides a possible new clue as to the whereabouts of the real zodiac killer who may still be free to walk the streets.
